Summary

In Chapter 7, Grace and Jane go for a walk after the Saturday meeting. Grace asks how her yard is coming. She says that Caleb is making good progress. Jane tells her that she feels it is time that she goes back to work. There is a conference is Portland the following week that she is considering attending. She needs to get away because she and Caleb are getting along too well. He makes breakfast every morning, washes the dishes, and does his own laundry. Some nights he takes his guitar and treats her to live music in her living room. She says that he is smart and fun to talk to as well. Jane believes she is attracted to him. She feels guilty when she looks at him because she feels he is off limits because he was Melody’s boyfriend.
