Atlas Corrigan

Atlas Corrigan is a man Lily once dated when she was in high school. Atlas was homeless because his abusive mother kicked him out of the house. Lily helped Atlas survive by providing him shelter, food, and water.

In the present, Atlas owns two restaurants. When he reconnects with Lily and learns she is divorced, he is eager to start a relationship with her. He tells her that no amount of interference from Ryle will keep him away from her. At the conclusion of the novel, he proposes to and married Lily.

Atlas’s life changes when he learns he has an 11-year-old brother whom he knew nothing about. When Atlas learns that his mother is abusing Josh just like she abused Atlas, Atlas forces his mother to give him parental rights.
