Summary

In Chapter 120, the Nice Man threatens Christopher with the death of his mother if he does not kill the Hissing Lady. Christopher uses his power to not only bring his mother back to life, but show her what she looks like through his eyes; the selfless, loving woman who always puts him first. Then he goes back into Hell.

In Chapter 121, Christopher witnesses each damned resident of Hell reliving the suffering they forced onto other people in life. He also envisions what the world will look like if the Nice Man gains access to it; the people on earth will nurse their bitterness and anger and hatred and take it out on each other for the rest of eternity. The Nice Man leads him to the Hissing Lady, who is bound and guarded by the Nice Man's army.
