Summary
Jordan moves to Paris. Rather than enjoying and immersing herself in the experience, she spends her days moping about her separation from Yash and endlessly checking the mailbox in the hopes of finding one of his infrequent letters. She is over the moon to receive a letter telling her he is coming to visit in August. Rather than writing fiction, as she intended to whilst in Paris, Jordan pours all of her thoughts and energy into writing letters to Yash. He visits and they have a great time. Jordan’s boss’s partner, Laurent, is impressed by Yash and offers him a job at his company which works in artificial intelligence. Yash initially accepts the job offer, to Jordan’s delight, but after speaking with his father on the phone he changes his mind and says he is not going to stay in Paris...
