Summary

In the following days, Jordan frets that breaking up with Sam will mean that she can’t be friends with Yash anymore. Eleven days after their fight, Sam visits Jordan’s house and gives her a letter apologizing for what happened. The letter is signed “Heart the Lover”, a reference to the card game they play with Yash and Ivan. They reconcile and return to the Breach House where Yash and Ivan celebrate Jordan’s return. The next morning Sam goes to church, leaving Yash and Jordan alone in the house together. Yash reveals that he is staying at college for an extra semester after the others graduate, because he had taken a leave of absence in his sophomore year.
