Summary

In Chapter 117: "Fungus, Beavers, and the Beautiful Stars," Claire wonders if Sachem is more interested in talking to Ian or Jenny. One day, Sachem asks Claire to accompany him to Saint's Pool and talk about the relationship between the living and the dead. He shows her a mushroom that she calls bleeding fairy helmets and points out how some have unusual spikes. When she thinks it may be a Fungus, Sachem thinks all living things depend on the dead. He then reveals that he heard of Claire's time travel abilities and wants to know more.
