Summary

Chapter 68: "Metanoia" starts three days later as Roger plans to meet the Reverends. Beforehand, he had read the newspaper and learned that those sentenced to death are accompanied by a clergyman. Roger recalls the fear of his own execution before Jenn asks to deliver papers with Germain. Fergus tells Roger' the guns have been fouled.

Fergus and Roger head down Tradd street to a small fishing boat. However, they have to wait for the fisherman's large catch to be taken care of. He sends Roger to his meeting as they wait.
