Summary

Castro’s house of horrors was torn down on August 7, 2013. The girls were offered to split the $22,000 they found in the house, but they all wanted the money to go to improving the neighborhood. Michelle witnessed the destruction of the house that morning. She handed out yellow balloons to those who had gathered. She told them that it stood for the thousands of people who are missing. Michelle had mixed feelings that morning. She was ecstatic that the house was coming down but she was reminded of all the time she lost there and all the misery she was made to endure.
