Section 15: Chapter 27 & Epilogue Summary

In Chapter 27, Jacqueline is nervous before Harrison's concert begins, so she warns Lucas that some of these kids have only been playing for a few months, and when Harrison waves at Jacqueline, Lucas jokes about Harrison having a crush on his tutor before asking Jacqueline to stay the night again. Jacqueline is relieved because she was afraid he would not ask. After the concert, Harrison presents Jacqueline with roses, and she praises him on a job well done. As Lucas and Jacqueline share a pillow and face each other that night, Jacqueline prays that she is not about to drive him away again because she has never felt so connected to anyone before.
