Section 9: Chapter 15 & 16 Summary

When Jacqueline texts Kennedy that she decided to return to campus early, he tells her that he thinks he made a mistake in breaking up with her, but she says it was not a mistake and refuses to talk about it. After Jacqueline texts Lucas that she is back on campus, he invites her to dinner during which he tells her that his mother died when he was thirteen, and as they make out, Lucas respects the boundaries that Jacqueline previously established. Leaving, Jacqueline and Lucas run into Dr. Heller who tells Lucas that they need to talk when he gets home.
