Section 11: Chapter 19 & 20 Summary

In Chapter 19, Jacqueline is excited when Benji reminds her that there will be no restrictions after the semester ends in nine days. Joining her after class, Lucas apologizes for not telling her he is Landon, but he does not explain. Instead, he tells her that he noticed her the first week, but she was always with Kennedy who obviously did not deserve her. When she stopped coming to class and he saw Kennedy flirting with other girls, he knew they had broken up and began looking for her on campus, but he did not talk to her because she seemed so miserable and rejected every guy who approached her.
