Colton's Tattoos

Colton has a series of tattoos on his torso that depict Celtic knots representing overcoming adversity, healing, acceptance and vengeance. Although he brushes aside Rylee's questions about them, they clearly are symbolic of the difficulties he faced in his childhood and the demons he still harbors.

Rylee's Ring

Although Max has been dead for two years, Rylee continues to wear the engagement ring he gave her, although not on her left hand. It is symbol not only of her love for Max and their plans for a future together, but also her inability to let go of him and move forward.
