Summary

The next diary is titled Tuesday. The entry takes place in October. Greg continues to argue with his mom, hoping to avoid participating in a sports event. He argues that within a few years, “regular sports will be replaced by e-sports, and athletes won't even have to leave their couches to compete” (80). Greg tries to think of something he might be good at. Once at lunch, he “landed a balled-up napkin in Justin White's empty milk glass” (81). It was such an incredible shot that everyone tried to replicate it. Greg considers this his biggest achievement. He feels there should be a plaque to commemorate the event.
