51 Summary

Matt returns just as Camelia is trying to open the door. She falls on the floor, and then kicks Matt in the gut. Camelia scrambles to her feet and runs outside, running through a campground. But the trailers are closed up for the season. Matt shouts from behind her that she'll never make it out. Just as Matt recaptures Camelia, Ben shows up and goes after Matt. The two fight and Ben knocks Matt out. Ben then helps Camelia onto her feet, and she thanks him.

51 Analysis

Camelia's escape almost goes wrong, until Ben shows up miraculously to save the day, knocking out Matt, and alerting the police. It turns out that Ben can indeed be trusted, to an extent. There are other mysteries that have yet to be resolved -so the reader, while relieved to see Ben has saved Camelia, is nevertheless still uneasy...
