Chapters 13-16 Summary

Chapter 13. Dresden is happy to see Molly, his former apprentice, but surprised that she knows he's alive and where to find him. She is more concerned with his injuries than answering his questions. His training and Winter magic have left him less hurt than he could be. Dresden frees the car and they slowly drive off. Molly has matured since they last met, and she veils the car with magic. They go to Molly's apartment, where she has prepared a room for him. He considers keeping his situation from her in his usual way, but feels it would be better for her safety to tell her almost everything. Dresden apologizes to her for their last meeting, but Molly is past it. He continues to be impressed by how she has changed. Molly treats both Dresden and Toot's wounds. She confesses that...
