Summary

As Chapter 15 begins, there is a 15 year time jump into Clytemnestra's life as Agamemnon's wife and Queen of Mycenae. She has four children now with Agamemnon: Iphigenia, Electra, Orestes, and Chrysothemis. She has three girls and one boy, and she says that these children and her relationship with them "have given her her life back." Later in this chapter, Clytemnestra visits her sister Timandra with her new husband. With her husband the king, Timandra rules in a small Greek region of Alea, in the royal city of Arcadia.

In Chapter 16, the two sisters return together to Sparta for the funeral of Tyndareus. Castor and Polydeuces have returned from the quest for the Golden Fleece with Jason.
