Chapter Twelve Summary

Chapter Twelve: Mickey's cell phone is waterlogged because Link tossed him into the water, so they can't call Wahoo's mother in China. The Crays set up a small camp away from the TV crew, including a separate pup tent for Tuna. Tuna wants to take a walk, and Mickey insists Wahoo must go with her because he is a gentleman. They come upon some of the crew, relaxing over steaks and beer. Tuna wants to turn off their flashlights and get closer, but Wahoo says they shouldn't spy. Tuna insists it's not spying, it's observing. Tuna is unhappy to hear everyone is making fun of Derek Badger. She is a long-time fan and she has not yet seen for herself that he is a sham.
