Summary

Briony met the Boggy Mun and made her offer, stating that she could act on All Hallow's Eve, so as to let the ghost children speak to the villagers (on Halloween the living can see the dead). She said that she would only do this if he cured Rose of the swamp cough. Boggy Mun countered, saying that he would allow Rose and Tiddy Rex to stay at the same level of the sickness until All Hallow's Eve, so as Briony did not have to worry about them. She agreed to this deal, but was unable to feel much relief.
