'Am I Betraying Ender?' Summary

Aboard Milo's starship, Quara characteristically alienates all the others aboard. Announcing that they are proceeding along the wrong path, she suggests examining a version of the virus, as it existed before contact with humans with a post-contact version of the virus. Since she knows that the virus adapts to incorporate the genetic information of species it contacts, she hypothesizes that they should be able to decode the language used by the virus to remember or describe human DNA, given that it is a code with which they are familiar.
