Summary

Chapter 6 is titled “King of the Chill.” At the next comic club meeting, Flippy begins by saying he should not have discouraged the frogs with his rules. He says they should “Write things that make you laugh … And try not to worry about what others think” (102). Melvin asks if they should always try to improve, and Flippy agrees. Melvin says that because “you brought it up” (104) he has an “improved” version of his comic. The title is “Dennis the Toothbrush Who Wanted to be a Dinosaur Lawyer 2: Cretaceous Courtroom” (105). In this version, Dennis earns his law degree and travels back in time to use his “mad lawyer skills” to help dinosaurs. A mother Iguanodon asks Dennis to help her son who is on trial for murder. The judge decides the Iguanodon looks guilty, but Dennis argues that “Iguanodons are vegetarians” (109). The judge dismisses...
