Summary

In Chapter 21, Autumn tries to stop thinking about Dax and wishes she could talk to him to be sure he is alright. Autumn learns that Dallin has invited everyone and that the party is taking on a zombie theme. Autumn admits that perhaps everyone does need a reason to celebrate, but she hates the idea of a party. At home, Dax's sweatshirt is in the laundry. Autumn's father, Vance says there was a boy at the library when the authorities arrived to rescue Autumn. Vance assumes he heard the alarm and somehow managed to get inside. Vance says he wants to thank the boy and that the will contact the police for his contact information. Autumn uses that idea to get Dax's home address and she shows up at the foster home. The woman there says CPS moved him to a group home...
