Summary

Chapter Nine is told from the perspective of Avery and takes place in London, before her trip to New York where Bonnie and Lucky find her at the apartment door. Chiti confronted Avery over the packet of Plan B she had found in the guest bathroom. Avery admitted that she had slept with Charlie, leaving Chiti distraught. Chiti broke a beautiful and expensive vase on the living room floor and walked through the glass. Avery calmed her down, washed her feet, and removed the shards of glass with tweezers. Chiti moved her things into the guest bedroom. A week later, Avery left for New York.

In New York, the sisters argued with each other. Avery attempted to hide the truth about her rift with Chiti, not knowing that Lucky knew about the Plan B. Meanwhile, Bonnie and Lucky attempted to withhold...
