Chapters 25 through 27 Summary

Chapter 25 finds Coco backstage at the ExtravaBAMSa, preparing for her victorious takeover of the dance group. Haylie had included a smoke machine in the routine, so Coco plans to make her secret entrance onto the stage as the smoke appears, but when the smoke clears, she suddenly comes crashing onto the stage, having run into Haylie, who did not leave the stage in embarrassment as Coco had planned. She also sees that Haylie and the other girls are performing the original routine in their original costumes rather than the ones Coco provided for them, and she slinks off the stage, humiliated in front of her friends and parents, but not before Haylie whispers that she should not have double-crossed her.
