Chapters 13 through 15 Summary

In Chapter 13, Becks is ready to teach Ellie to surf. She is surprised when Ellie wants to meet at a store rather than at the beach, but she quickly learns that Ellie wants Becks to help her pick out appropriate clothing for surfing. At first, Becks is uncomfortable, but she soon finds that she is good at it, although she asks Mac to help her with her own clothing choices. When Ellie is trying on a swimsuit, the girls are approached by Chad, who works for the store and says he is always looking for young surfers to sponsor and use in advertising campaigns. Ellie immediately announces that she is a surfer, and since she looks the part, Becks realizes that it appears that Ellie is the surfing expert.
