Chapters 10 through 12 Summary

Chapter 10 finds the Inner Circle sitting glumly around Mac's pool, reading online comments people have left about Ruby's video and lamenting the fact that their reputations have been ruined. They also watch a new video Ruby has posted, thanking the BAMS students for electing her social chair and slyly slipping in references to the embarrassing parts of the slumber party video. As the chapter ends, Emily is considering moving back to Iowa, where her life was much less complicated.

Chapter 11 opens with Mac home alone after her friends have left when Ruby unexpectedly appears at the front door, offering Mac a way out of the mess she has created.
