Summary

Chapter 11

The group of rebels gets off the train and gets to Johanna and the trucks that are waiting for them to go outside the city gates. After they jump from the train, Caleb tries to run but is no match for Tobias. Tobias warns Caleb to just keep his mouth shut. This turns bloody when they come under gun fire. Tori gets killed instantly and Tris freezes, remembering Will, her mother, her father, and countless others that have lost their lives. Tris loses sight of Tobias when they are separated, but is then found later with the others. He's bleeding from a wound he sustained to his arm. He and Tris fall into one another's arms, then get into the truck.

As they ride in the truck Johanna tells them that now and again people would come outside of the gate...
