Summary

The narrator explains that once, before the boy was sick, Titania had lost him. She woke up one morning and he was nowhere to be found. No other fairy had taken him, so Titania was convinced that his mortal mother had stolen him back. As she was preparing her armor to go slay the mortal woman, they found the boy asleep in the cupboard.

Back in the hospital, Titania and Oberon are sitting by the boy's bed while he sleeps. The doctors have told them that the boy is getting worse. Titania tells Oberon that he has given her a terrible gift, and confesses that she is afraid the boy will die and she will lose her love for everything else, including Oberon. Oberon tells her not to think like that, and they have sex in the hospital room. When staff members come in...
