Summary

The story begins with the narrator explaining that it had taken Titania and Oberon a long time to realize that the boy was unwell. They, being unfamiliar with illness of the mortal world, struggled to recognize the signs. Titania prides herself on being the first to notice that something was wrong, as she and Oberon are constantly vying for power in their relationship. At the hospital, Doctor Blork and Doctor Beadle tell them that there was no way they could have recognized the signs any sooner, attempting to relieve some of their guilt. Oberon asks if they can cure the Leukemia, and they say maybe.
