A Tiny Feast Overview

"A Tiny Feast" is a short story by American author Chris Adrian. It first appeared in The New Yorker magazine in 2009, and tells the story of a fairy couple, Titania and Oberon, whose stolen mortal child has been diagnosed with leukemia. The story transplants characters from William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream into a contemporary world and details their experience with human loss. It explores themes of parenthood, marriage, and grief.
