Chapter 8-10 Summary

Chapter eight begins with John thinking back to the events that took place after he failed at San Sobel. John went back to the Fairy Glen to see the Lady. It was at the Fairy Glen that John was given the staff and made a Knight of the Word. John believes he can go back and ask that the burden be lifted from him. When John arrives at the Fairy Glen in Wales, he waits for the Lady. The ghost of a Knight of the Word and John's ancestor, Owain Glyndwr, appears and John tells him that something terrible has happened.
