Summary

In “The Graduation Horde,” El and her friends went to dinner. They worried that the seniors were going to try to go back downstairs and reopen the wall. Orion wanted to go into the graduation hall with the seniors to help them, but El said that was a horrible idea. The senior valedictorian, Clarita Acevedo-Cruz, approached them and said she had worked out the numbers and had discovered that Orion had saved 600 people. There were only 900 seniors, but she theorized that if all the 4,000 students in the school worked to compile mana over the next week, they could generate enough power for Orion to go into the hall and fix the cleansing machinery that would clear the hall of monsters, which had been broken since the 1800’s.
