Book 4, The Whole Truth: Chapters 96-106 Summary

In chapter 96, Lindsay and Raleigh are invited to a ballgame with the police commissioner, and they spend a full inning making love in the bathroom. In chapter 97, Lindsay meets with Jenks again. Jenks tries to convince Lindsay that he has been set up, but Lindsay refuses to believe him. In chapter 98, Lindsay and Jill are leaving the visitors area when they run into Chessy Jenks. Chessy appears to be distraught and confused by her husband's arrest. In chapter 99, Lindsay learns that her red cell count is still falling and she might only have a month before a bone marrow transplant might be necessary. In chapter 100, Lindsay and Raleigh spend a weekend at his cabin in the country. In chapter 101, Lindsay finally tells Raleigh the truth about her illness. Raleigh is supportive.
