Book 1, David and Melanie Brandt: Chapters 18-25 Summary

In chapter 18, Lindsay finds several messages waiting for her at her desk. Lindsay calls the CSU guy and learns there were no prints of any use in the suite. Lindsay calls Cindy Thomas and tells her the same thing she would tell any other reporter, no comment. In chapter 19, Lindsay is reluctant to go home and finds herself at the Hyatt. In the Mandarin Suite, Lindsay feels a connection to Melanie Brandt. Lindsay makes her a promise that she will find Melanie's killer. Lindsay also realizes that the killer took the Brandts' wedding rings. In chapter 20, Lindsay is in the office of the hematologist the following morning.
