Book 3, Red Beard: Chapters 70-80 Summary

In chapter 70, Lindsay and Raleigh visit Jill Bernhardt, the assistant district attorney, but she tells them she cannot ask for any search warrants based on the evidence they have so far; however, Jill assures Lindsay she is firmly on her side. In chapter 71, Cindy researches the Chronicle archives and finds a picture of Kathy Voskuhl with Nicholas Jenks. In chapter 72, Cindy takes the photograph to Lindsay who quickly brings her up to speed on the evidence against Jenks thus far. In chapter 73, the Women's Murder Club welcomes a new member, Jill Bernhardt. Again Jill tells them they will need strong evidence to make a move against Jenks.
