Book 2, Part 5, Chapters 15 - 24 Summary

In Chapter 15, Roland goes to look for Jake while Susannah and Eddie try to find Blaine's cradle. In Chapter 16, Gasher continues to run Jake through his trash maze,. He hits and kicks Jake when he feels the boy needed extra incentive to run faster. They pause only long enough for Gasher to show Jake the proper way to pass through one of the Gray's booby traps. In Chapter 17, Roland approaches the maze that Gasher has taken Jake into and discovers that Oy is there also. Roland follows Oy into the maze with Oy tracking Jake's scent as a dog might.

In Chapter 18, Susannah and Eddie search the city for Blaine. They begin to notice speakers set on poles throughout the city. Susannah suddenly realizes these speakers were set up as a way to broadcast information during war...
