Chapter 8 Summary

On the day of the coronation, Godel has Jim confined to the Palace. He is trying to get out of the Palace to be with Gaisburg but the Palace staff is looking for him. He knows that something is going on. Becky rides to the ceremony with the Count and Countess.

Jim, while trying to sneak out of the Palace hears the Palace guard talking. They think there may be a plot against the king and that Jim is involved. Jim takes a horse and rode until the streets became too crowded.
