Chapters 4-5 Summary

The Prince, Adelaide, and the Countess visit the rooming house where Becky lives. Adelaide introduces them to Becky's mother. The Prince speaks to Becky's mother and tells her how he once met her husband. He asks that Becky be allowed to accompany them to Razkavia and be a companion to his wife. Mrs. Winter agrees to allow Becky to go. They will leave in thirty-six hours. The Prince gives them money for Becky to buy clothing and whatever she needs.
