Summary

In Chapter 32, because Frost felt that Frankie was hiding something from him, he lied to the security guard in her building about a missing woman—a patient of Frankie’s—having been spotted going into the building. Once he tricked his way inside Frankie’s office, Frost poked around but the only thing he could find that helped him was some wadded up notes in the trash can. He found the address of a location near the city’s ship piers as well as some notes Frankie had written to herself of which Frost could make no sense.

Just before Frost left the office he was confronted by Frankie’s husband. He considered lying about why he was there but instead decided to tell Jason the truth, that he thought Frankie was hiding something from him. Jason told him what he knew about...
