Summary

Chapter 39

Leo’s friends are almost immediately knocked out. The Eidolons say that they only need those two as they are a male and female demigod. They try to go after Leo, but he manages to escape into another room, using his fire to fuse the locks together. The Eidolons continue to threaten him, but he ignores them and starts searching the room, finding a control sphere that he can use to fight them. Unfortunately, the sphere is locked and he knows he doesn’t have much time before the Eidolons are able to break into the room. He breaks out the fortune cookie that Nemesis gave him, opening it up and hoping that it will give him the answer that he needs.
