Susannah Dean finds herself prone to bouts of weeping more and more as they travel. Bill the Robot takes Roland Deschain, Susannah, Oy and Patrick Danville to an outpost. They stop to rest, and Bill makes them a cart for Susannah and Patrick to ride. Roland is eager to move on to the tower.
