Chapter 15 Summary

Dhatt and Borlu take the metro to Bowden's flat to question him. Bowden says he was home when Mahalia was murdered and they can see if his neighbor heard him puttering around inside. They asks why he lives in Ul Qoma and he says because the artifacts are in Ul Qoman soil. When they ask if anyone had a problem with Yolanda, Bowden says no.

He says Mahalia had a tendency to piss people off, but that Yolanda was sweet. He says Yolanda was not studying Orciny with him. The Inspectors find out that Bowden's apartment was broken into a few weeks prior but that nothing was stolen.

Chapter 15 Analysis

All of the clues seem to link back to Bowden. While the Inspectors do not think Bowden is necessarily involved in the murder and the disappearances, it suggests that something bad is happening...
