Chapters 19 and 20 Summary

The big dance is coming up at school. Holly and Jess have dates. Bettina is going to a place to do drugs and drink with Jake and his friends. Meredith says the dance is lame, so she's going on a trip to NYC to go to a party with her friends. During visiting hours, Cape goes to Meredith's room and spends an hour in there.

When he leaves, Meredith tells them that she's cancelling her trip to NYC because Cape begged her to go to the dance with him. The girls then talk about trimming their pubic hair so it'll be neater down there when their guys perform oral sex on them.

Even though she's not going to the dance, Bettina buys a new dress, shoes, and a necklace. She also decides to get her hair cut. When she returns to...
