Summary

In Chapter 3, Sunny is running away from the three NightWings, trying to figure out what to do with them. When the NightWings give up on catching Sunny, she considers going back to the RainWing village but knows the other four dragonets never listen to her. When she has something to say, she has to tell Clay who then makes the others listen but she fears they will not believe that Fierceteeth, Preyhunter, and Strongwings are dangerous. She decides to stop them on her own to show the other dragonets “I can do important things” (40). She thinks about the fact that so many dragons in Pyrrhia are waiting for the dragonets to bring an end to the war, and decides she will fulfill the prophecy, even if she does so alone.
