Chapter 25, Old Jingleballicks Summary

When doc gets back, he is pleasantly surprised to find his place clean and the stew simmering and almost ready. Upon realization that it was Suzy that cleaned the laboratory, he starts to worry that he did something wrong or that she feels indebted to him. For a little while he starts to feel like something is wrong, especially because the "voices are quiet". Doc feels good and after listening to some music he inspired to start writing his paper until Old Jingleballicks shows up at his door.
