Chapter 24, Waiting Friday Summary

Doc goes to the Grocery store and knows that everyone is watching him. Joseph and Mary gives him some good beer and Doc takes it to the lab where he makes himself some breakfast. Fauna comes over to find out how the date went and Doc tells her how great it was complementing her choice in their dinner. Doc tells Fauna to take Suzy's purse that she left in the car back to Suzy but Fauna says Suzy will just come and get it.

Back at the Bear Flag, Suzy excitedly gives Fauna a run down on how the night went and even points out the fact that their meal contained their horoscopes. Suzy asks Fauna what she thinks about the symbolism and Fauna agrees that it's a sign then sends Suzy on an errand to San Francisco to...
