Chapter 11, Hazel's Brooding Summary

Hazel is still upset about the horoscope Fauna read to him. He feels like his world has been turned upside-down and even worse is that he can't turn to Doc because he is not being himself. Hazel starts thinking about what needs to be done to help Doc and who it is that has caused this change in him. As he is thinking under the cypress tree he used to live under before the flophouse, it comes to him that Mack is the reason for Doc is going through this. Hazel goes to the Palace Flophouse and tries to get Mack to come outside so that he can beat him up. Mack refuses and talks some sense into Hazel until finally he calms down and they all drink the night away discussing their theories on what Doc needs. Mack...
