Chapter Seven Summary

In Chapter Seven, Victor mock attacks Rose. Rose uses the distraction to overpower the guards and free Victor. Despite her repulsion for Victor based on his former torturing of her, Lissa allows him to drain a short intake of blood from one of the stunned guards. Victor argues that unless he is allowed to do so, he will not be able to escape the prison because of his weakened state. Rose is against it but relents when she realizes they have no choice.

Keeping another guard they encounter named Giovanni under Lissa's mind control, they force their way into the main control room. There a bank of video cameras and computers records all that occurs inside the prison's walls.
