Summary

In Chapter 63, Mikami wondered if the new kidnapper was actually the same person who kidnapped Shoko Amamiya 14 years earlier. Mikami stood with Mikura who gave Mikami the details. The victim was a 17-year-old girl in high school from Genbu City, Station G’s jurisdiction. Mikura presented Mikami with some papers outlining a proposed Press Coverage Agreement for the new kidnapping case. The press was only to know very limited information (location of kidnapping, age of parents, year in school); the victim and her parent’s identities were to be kept anonymous. The papers also said that there had already been two calls received by the victim’s parents from the kidnapper who claimed to be Sato (the name given by Shoko’s kidnapper).
