Chapter 24 Summary

Anna ignores Kate at school at first. Later, Anna apologizes to Kate. She says she misses her old life but is afraid if Sam finds out who she really is he won't like her. Anna asks if what she heard about Kate and Will is true.

Chapter 24 Analysis

Kate is getting her hopes up about rekindling her friendship with Anna. Kate thinks everything is turning back to normal, but it foreshadows that Anna is simply using Kate for her own emotional needs. It's ironic that Kate isn't popular and she's causing rumors to fly about Will, one of the most popular boys in school.
