Chapters 25 - 27 Summary

Chapter 25: Jonathan and Melissa go to pick up Jessica just before midnight. Jessica tells them about Beth. Melissa promises to track Beth as soon as she can hear her mind. They speed quickly toward Jenks, running a red light. This catches the attention of the town sheriff, Clancy St. Claire. Using quick thinking and his experience with knowing the neighborhood, Jonathan escapes the police using a fork in the road. As they get closer to Jenks, it starts pouring rain and storming.

Chapter 26: Dess and Rex arrive at the empty warehouse where they had planned to set off the bomb.
